today, to day. i thought it will be a facil day however NO! it was one of the most extrefull day, today i had to do alot of thing such as, first making copy, then cutting the paper, after that i had to get then together to make a little pakcge of imformation. WOW! after that i had to get all the papers i put it in a forder. that was all NOW, you might be thinking thats not to much but wait i had to put together like around 300s or more papers... ahju NOOWW! what? lol

Today my intership start earler i got there at 12:25 i was helping my mentor with a project. i was look for fact and game online for diffrent title that they choosed! so today is a really good day for me because i spent my whole time on the computer and working with my mentor! Is pretty and a good day and there is a very a nice weather outside! meaning the opposite.! lol

Today i was helping out my mentor more then usually.
my mentor was telling me how to help out with the people that comes in, for example what kind of paper i have to gave the and where they have to fill out.
I also was talkin to the people about the things that they have to do in order to get the classes, what kind of things they have to bring in other to make the process much issier.

It wasent a very bussy day today.
Actually when i came in it was bussy because everything was messed up and i had to get on line with the bussy thing. After i cleaned everything and help my mentor with other things,it got quiter. people started leaving, then my mentor send me to lunch, therefore everyboby went to lunch.
But i wasent hungry enough. that dosent happend often lol.
but joph told me to go with him, so with went outside and he eat then we came back. that was mostly the day.

wow. 2day was one od=f the day that i wanted to do everything done at once, however its not possible therefore i couldnt. but any ways, today i im was full of energy, but how one thing brinks your hole day donw. i went to my site with the hope i will be doing something new something i never ever had done, but NO! everything the same, the same people, and the same work. i didnt had any other chooice then take the paper and do the work. the good things is that i had my work done but boaring. that how my day was, OH! and the work i was doing was calling people. lol

How has the internship been the same as and/or different than your expectations?

in this case my intership has been very ddiferent from what i expect. i thought my intership will be full of hard work that required alot of effort, however it turn out been the opposite, why because my job is easy to understand and with succes.


What is similar and different about the culture of the school environment versus the workplace environment? What new skills have you learned that apply to the workplace?

the school enviroment is to pandemonium compare to my work place, my work place is calm, easy to consentrate and to work in. therefore my work place teach me how to work and be responsible to have the work done on time, also it teach me to communicate with individuals in a respectful way, and like i already know them.


What kind of relationship do you have with your mentor and co-workers? How have you grown as a result of interacting with professional adults?

the relationship, i have with my mentor or with the people that are around me. is very confident in a respectfull way. Once again being with responsible people and people that i can see as an example to achive some thing, i grow more of being a responsible person and to think more before i do something that will affect me, what? not being absent to my work.


What challenges at the internship have you faced that you have overcome and how did you overcome them?

my internship havent gave me challenge/ or something that i i'll be stock in.


What goals are you working to accomplish during the remainder of the internship?

one 0f the most and the only important goal i'll tried to work in, and i think i achive it,is to left my menter's mind and the people i work around with, with a good impression of me.

What new things have you learned about New York City?

lol one of the most funny and dangerous thing i learn about New York City is that manhattan is one the state that smoke the most from what i have see.

today i was suppose to go to my intership but i dont want to. is not that i dont want to, is i dont feel good to go,however i decidenot to go.

after an hour, i choose to go because im missing hours already so i went.

after i was at my site. i was feeeling so dammmmmmmm bad and i wanted to go home but me smart didnt.

i did my holes hours, when it was 3:50 i was alredy packing my stuff ready to go home, i was downnnnn realy bad.

But goodness i didnt faint or something like that it was all good. i got home safe but sick.

yeah.......... today it was very different from yesterday, why? because when i got to my site, mentor told me and josh to go to colors with her, colors is an example for other restaurants, therefore colors belongs to my site. colors is very nice and expensive place. (mr: andrew you should take your wife there, hahahaha)in color i saw how people cook, and i aet cake.(dominican cake with frust..... ummmmmmmm yummy) then i went to my site to pick my things and went home, very happy and full.

hey, today i woke up thinking of not going to school, but i have to unfortanatly. today i went to my first period class. and at 11:30 clau, diana, and me went to pizza.( i was veri gud). i got to my intership like aroud 12:50, and i didnt did anything untill 1:00. (yeahhhhh.. its was gud). then i started calling people for metting, and that is what i did 4 three long and boards hours.

second week part 2

during the second week i did much more then what i did in the first weeek,during the second week i was most confortable with the people at my site, basecly i was getting used to them. the second week was much beasier(is this a word) callling people, making metting, that was basecly everything, however this was much fun compare to the firts week, one because the first week was my firts time workintg, second because it was much beasy, and thrid because the firts week was board i was doing nothing almost falling to sleep. therefore now, what i really love is that i now my job and i do it faster and on time,that means, that sometimes i have free time. however their is something i hate about my site, which is that my site is way tooooooooo quite, and boardd.

third week assignment!

Hi, there are several things that im working on rite nowwww... such as faxing paper, researching for game that are realated to descremination, racism, workers right, and the most important, is that im sitting on a shiar calling people for metting. this is what i basecly do at my work place. In my intership site. all this work, will denefit any restaurant workers. how? in the way that this game and the calling im doing is to let them now how much care about them. however the game is to make the classes more interesting, meaning we try to incorage them to came to the classes.
currently i was calling alots of people. to go to city hall, why? because we were trying to pass a law that will benefit 100s of restaurant workers with there wages, salary, and ofcoures to stop the explotation on this immigrants or illegal immigrants. wacht the newss you might see me on TV. lol
